Your membership opens the door to club life and the many activities around flights organised by the association or its partners. You are invited to take part, meet the crews and discover hot air ballooning in practice.
Opportunities to fly depend on the outings, weather and available places. Membership is not a flight booking.
JOIN AN OUTING
An adventure that goes
far beyond the basket.
An invitation, a crew to join and an adventure to share. Flights organised by the association or its partners offer opportunities to participate and learn.

- 01
Before departure
Meet the crew, listen to the briefing and help with preparation under their guidance.
- 02
During the outing
Observe the activity and discover the ground crew’s role. A place on a flight may become available, depending on the circumstances.
- 03
After landing
Retrieving and packing away the balloon are part of the experience. There is also time to talk about what you have learned.
LEARN AND DEVELOP
Curiosity brings you here.
Experience is shared.

- Understand each crew member’s role
- Discover the equipment and principles of flight
- Talk with pilots, instructors and fellow enthusiasts
- Enrich your learning through observation and mentoring
For student pilots, this experience complements training. It does not replace the training required for a Balloon Pilot Licence (BPL).

Ask another questionHow do flight invitations work?
As a member, you may be invited to flights organised by the association or its partners and experience them alongside the crew. Depending on available places, there may be an opportunity to go up in the basket. The club will explain how invitations are shared and how to participate.
Does membership guarantee me a flight?
No. You join a non-profit association to take part in club life and discover ballooning. Opportunities to fly may arise depending on activities, weather and available places.
Can I take part as a beginner?
The club welcomes curious people and enthusiasts. You can discover the activities and equipment under the guidance of experienced people. Contact us to discuss your expectations and the conditions for taking part.
I am a student pilot - how could this help me?
Observing a crew, discussing an outing and discovering the equipment can complement your learning. The club offers exchanges and mentoring. Activities do not replace your official training.
Where do activities take place?
The club is based in Brussels and welcomes enthusiasts from Brussels and Brabant in particular. The location and conditions of each outing depend on its organisation and the weather. Confirm these with the club.
Do I need to be available for every outing?
Let us discuss your availability. Activities depend on organisation and flight conditions. The club can explain how proposed outings are communicated to members.
How do I become a member?
