Who is responsible for your data?

Montgolfières de Bruxelles ASBL, 3 avenue des Étriers, 1150 Brussels, Belgium, is responsible for the processing described here. For questions or to exercise your rights, contact info@montgolfieresdebruxelles.be.

Responding to your enquiry

The form asks for your name, email address, municipality or postcode and the subject you are interested in. You may also provide your availability, phone number and a message. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to handle your enquiry. Without an email address, we cannot reply by email. Please do not include medical information or other sensitive data in the form.

We use these details to understand your enquiry, reply and explain activities or membership. Membership enquiries are processed to take steps, at your request, towards joining the association. Other enquiries are handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

Information for interested people and members

We do not use your contact details for commercial prospecting, targeted advertising or selling contact lists. Contacting us does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We provide the information you request and, if you join, the details needed for membership, invitations and association life. Membership administration is based on our relationship with the member; statutory administrative and accounting duties are based on the relevant legal obligation. There is no advertising profiling or automated membership admission decision on this website.

Technical data and security

When you browse the website, the hosting service processes connection data needed to deliver pages and maintain security, including your IP address and technical browser information. Protection against abuse is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a safe service. This information is not used to build an advertising profile.

Who may receive the information?

Access is limited to people authorised to answer enquiries and administer the association. Our host Infomaniak and technical maintenance or email providers may process information as part of their services. Details needed for an activity are shared with its organiser only where necessary for your participation and after informing you. Your data is not provided to partners for prospecting.

The website is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. Switzerland benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision. You can ask us for details about the providers and safeguards applicable to your data.

How long is information kept?

Correspondence is kept while we handle your enquiry and its related follow-up. Once an exchange is complete, only information still needed for that follow-up, to establish our rights or to meet a legal obligation is retained. Member information remains available during membership; afterwards, only records justified by the association’s obligations or the defence of its rights are archived for the applicable period. Technical security data and backups follow their own retention cycles and are not used for commercial communications.

Your rights and how to contact us

You may request access, correction or erasure of your data, or restriction of processing. You may object, on grounds relating to your situation, to processing based on our legitimate interest. Portability applies to information you supplied where automated processing is based on consent or a contract. Where a specific activity relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

Email info@montgolfieresdebruxelles.be with your request. We normally reply within one month; for a complex request, we inform you of any extension allowed by the GDPR. A proportionate identity check may be necessary. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
